VIIAFOOD is a national strategic agenda designed to drive the structural transformation of the agri-food sector through innovation, collaboration, and technology transfer. Aligned with Portugal’s Sector Pact for Competitiveness and Internationalization, the project establishes a nationwide platform for the development of innovative products, processes, and services.

By strengthening collaboration between agri-industrial companies, cross-sector partners, research institutions, and innovation hubs, VIIAFOOD accelerates Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I), fosters knowledge sharing, and creates synergies that boost the competitiveness and sustainability of the agri-food ecosystem.
